Browsers like Brave will be forced to play "whack-a-mole" to always seek out and weed out the changes Google is making, with Manifest v3 (and beyond).Ĭan they do it? I am sure at first, yes, but overall indefinitely, doubtful. Blink, the web engine behind the browser (chromium) is also being modified. Brave follows chromium (blink), because chromium is what Brave is built off of.
